DFC Services
The URI Digital Forensics Center provides services to the legal profession, businesses, government, law enforcement and educational communities as well as to individuals. Our major services include:
- Forensic Acquisition of data from digital media (hard drives, USB drives, full computers, networks, mobile devices, etc).
- Forensic investigation of data acquired from digital media.
- Forensic investigation of network activity.
- Research investigation of computer hardware, software, and Internet applications.
- Reporting and/or expert testimony of findings from investigations and research.
- Evaluation of forensic tools and technology.
- Data Recovery from failed digital media (e.g. saving of important files from a failed hard drive).
