Kristen McCooey, Senior Investigator

Kristen McCooey has a BS in Computer Science, a minor in Digital Forensics, and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Forensics. Ms. McCooey has completed extensive training from Access Data, X-Ways Software, and the University of Rhode Island. Ms. McCooey holds her ACE Certification from Access Data, her CCE Certification from the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, and is also a member of the International High Technology Crime Investigation Association. In addition to working at the Rhode Island Digital Forensics Center Ms. McCooey is actively involved in developing and teaching courses in Digital and Network Forensics at the University of Rhode Island. Before joining the Rhode Island Digital Forensics Center Ms. McCooey spent a year interning for the Rhode Island State Police's Computer Crimes Unit.
